About This Site
I’m not a professional woodworker, nor did I go to a trade school. I’m just a guy that has loves building things and doing household projects. About 15 years ago, we purchased our first house and my tool collection literally went from a hammer, Phillips head, and flat head screw drivers to needing a much larger garage. I wanted to learn everything I could about how to use the right tools to create something from practically nothing.
If I had never gone into finance, I would have went into the woodworking field. There is just something alluring about taking some raw materials and turning them into something usable. The wife keeps coming up with new purchase ideas and I evaluate each one and think, “I could do that” and off to the workshop I go. Aside from being a father to my kids, there is nothing more fulfilling and rewarding than creating of something from scratch. That moment when it’s all done and you can say, “Ahhh…that looks good!”.
This website is my way of sharing the information I have learned along the way, as well as my thoughts on different products, and some of my experiences. I hope to help you achieve your woodworking goals.
